While Svank Design's original interior designs have an emphasis on the startlingly contemporary, we also use our knowledge and expertise to supply and consult upon classic interiors, including features such as wood paneling and antique fireplaces.
We have a specialised partnership for the sourcing of genuine antique fireplaces with Thornhill Galleries, renowned experts in the field. Together we scour the UK and Europe for the finest antique fireplaces, rescued from beautiful period interiors.

Wood Paneling

To compliment a classically styled interior with detailing such as an antique fireplace, there can be no better finish to the wall than that provided by wood paneling. However, at Svank we think that restored or bespoke created wood paneling is not limited to use within classic interiors, but can also give extra depth to a more modern arrangement. We pride ourselves on having close working relationships with experts in the field of restoration who can also create new wood paneling either as meticulous reproduction or to your own specification.
